Item Model
Alitrip travel item model is as shown in the following diagram. Multiple travel packages may be designed for one item; each package has its separate calendar price and availability.
Alitrip system supports separate external merchant codes (product codes customized by merchants) for items and travel packages. The external merchant code of an item will be transferred to a transaction order when a customer books the item in order to facilitate the matchmaking between item and order by the merchant, thereby improving order processing efficiency.
Alitrip suggests packaging products that have the same route (identical departure and destination cities) as one item (including multiple travel packages) for sale.
How to Complete Matchmaking
A merchant can release its products on Alitrip in the following two ways:
Mapping merchant products as Alitrip items
One merchant product is converted to one Alitrip item (goods). Assuming that a merchant product code is A001, then this product code is set as an external merchant code of an item, indicating that all travel packages of this item correspond to A001 product of a merchant, as shown in the following diagram:

Multiple merchant products are converted to one Alitrip item (goods); each product corresponds to one travel package.
Assuming that merchant product codes are A001 and A002, these two products have their respective price and availability.
Release travel package 1: set A001 as the external merchant code for travel package 1, and synchronize the price and availability of A001 to travel package 1;
Release travel package 2: set A002 as the external merchant code for travel package 2, and synchronize the price and availability of A002 to travel package 2.
